silence all around

It is the night of the first day of semester 2... I had my first lecture and there were only 3 people in the class... Technically there are suppose to be 7 of us but 4 are MIA... It was a really short class and we were out of there within half an hour... At least it was an interesting half an hour as we were discussing the challenges of middle school and how lots of parents are over indulgent without boundaries... Well I am now back in my room with the door shut... Was so glad that Seng Chee and Norzie came over for a visit... Haven't seen them in ages and it was good to chat with them... I miss being able to chat with people and having warmth around... Silence is far from golden at the moment... I have had too much of that and a lack of a normal life... It is affecting me in the strangest of ways, I was so zoned out that I just about brushed my teeth twice tonight... How bad is that?

Anyway, time to go to bed and make some noise in my sleep... ha ha ha

the end

It is the end of the holidays... It will be good to start uni again... Have been attempting to read my text book for one of my new subjects... It is quite a good read thus far... Well have decided that this semester, I am going to work very hard at the gym... I am dreading my monday nights as once again I have class from 1800-2000 right over tea time as usual... Sigh... Oh well... what can I say? I can't win all the time can I?

Have decided that Krispy Kream Donut Sundae are yummy but bad all in the same breathe... It has Movenpick ice cream and it is really good but it makes me feel really guilty after eating one which hence the motivation to hit the gym...

I guess it is time to go horizontal and am feeling like a barking dog at the moment as my cough is back with a vengeance... Hope sleep will help the cause...

adventures of 4 wheels

It is the last week of the holidays... Been a really busy time for me... A few of us have been busy shopping and stocking up on this that and the other... Some have been beautifying their rooms... I rented a car and thus legs exist once again... So it has been adventures every day... Went to Ikea two days in a row and surprise surprise didn't get lost!!!But driving to Paramatta from Rhodes is an adventure.... the roads don't always exist as where they should technically on the map and at other times, the road disappears before your eyes... Had a few interesting sudden changes when hey presto, am in a turning lane wanting to go straight instead! But all in all it has been really fun and enjoyable...

Oh and by the way it is technically still winter at the moment but it was a high of 23 degrees today and 21 yesterday... Miss the cooler weather already... anyway... I am off....

Deja Vu

Aroma festival was held at the rocks yesterday... Deja Vu... the weather was the same when I went for the same event a few years ago... it was wet and gloomy... the crowd has grown and there are lots more people and stores... But well for a person who doesn't like coffee I cant help but wonder why I went...Hmmm... I ended up with a few buys though... ha ha ha...

My most expensive buy- cup cakes are back in fashion and this cost $4!!!

This is the last week of the holidays and there are so many things that I want to do and so many things I have to do... The most important being the fact that Uni fees need to be paid... Guess I will wander down today to do that... Then it is off to get the required text books... Sigh...
